Old Ephraim Balm

Old Ephraim or Ol' Ephraim is a term popularized in the 19th century American West referring to Grizzly Bears. The name also refers to a particular grizzly bear known to roam the Cache National Forest in Idaho and Utah. From Soda Springs, Idaho to as far as Weber County, Utah, this very large bear traveled great distances to survive and is said to devastate ranchers herds.
